ROTORWIND™ SYSTEM WATCHWINDERS

Based on the unique Rotorwind™ watchwinding system, Orbita is now able to offer fine watch marketers an elegant and extremely affordable encased watchwinder for use as a "gift with purchase" or for other promotional use at a reasonable cost.

The Rotorwind™ system is truly unique.  Rather than rotating a watch periodically in one direction or another in the conventional manner, the system provides a gentle "rocking" action which is self-regulating.  Overwinding is impossible and excess wear on the watches overwind protection system is totally avoided.  Moreover, with most of the winding action provided by gravity, battery life for these winders can be as much as two years and, as a result, an AC/DC power adapter is not required.

There has been extensive field-testing of the Rotorwind™ system.  Owners of over 100 different watch models and brands volunteered to test the new winder in their own homes using their personal watches.  Their test results proved the versatility and reliability of the system.  Many watches which previously defied motorized winding on other winders achieved perfect results.

Orbita offers these "branded" winders with numerous wood case options, including maple burl, cherry, teakwood and piano black.  Their high-gloss lacquer finishes are extremely attractive and very durable.  Standard case lining material is black suede but other colors and/or fabrics are also available.

Logo and/or corporate or store branding on the cases can be easily accomplished by single or multiple color silk-screening, laser engraving or with embedded emblems.  Attractive outer boxes are also supplied and can be branded likewise.
