NEW “PRIVATE LABEL” WATCHWINDERS

Upon the completion of an extremely successful field-testing program for its new Sparta watchwinder which involved 75 “volunteer” watch collectors testing a diverse collection of more than 100 fine Swiss and German automatic watches on this new winder, Orbita Corporation has announced the availability of a new “branded” version of elegantly encased affordable watchwinders employing this new design.

Chuck Agnoff, Orbita’s president commented “In the past, many manufacturers, dealers and distributors of automatic watches asked us for private label winders.  They wanted to offer a fine winder as a gift with the purchase of a fine watch.  Unfortunately, most of the time, we had nothing that would meet their purchase price goals. 

Now that Orbita’s new Sparta watchwinder is in production, that situation has changed.  The Sparta watchwinder employs a unique new winding concept.  Rather than rotating the watch in circles, every 10 minutes the watch swings through a series of diminishing arcs, gently winding the watch without any chance for overwinding.  Worldwide patents are pending on this innovative system dubbed “ROTORWIND™”.  Not only is the design sophisticated, it is also economical to produce.  Hence, the cost advantage.

Orbita has developed a special Sparta “insert” which is fitted into a fine wood case.  These cases are available in maple burl, teakwood, cherry or piano black finish.  Fabric or leather covered cases are also available on special order.  Logos and/or brand names can be applied where desired by single or multi-color silk screening, embossing or laser engraving.  A wide choice of lining fabrics and customized packaging is also available to meet specific marketing needs of the watch marketer.
