WATCHWINDERS - Getting Smaller And Larger

At BASEL 2000, ORBITA Corporation introduced two new watchwinders, one at each end of the watchwinder size spectrum. The JCK Las Vegas show will be our introduction to the American market. Their new small BELLINO is a compact, easily transported single head watchwinder which, with batteries, weighs less than one (1) kilogram. Like all other ORBITA Watchwinders, the BELLINO is fully programmable to wind any Swiss automatic watch produced over the past 50 years. It provides a choice of rotational speeds: 500, 650, 800 or 950 turns per day. Rotation can be clockwise, counter-clockwise or bi-directional to suit virtually every Swiss automatic movement. An AC/DC adapter is also provided for wall plug operation.

Also being introduced is the BERGAMO Watchwinder Console, an elegant cabinet design which will keep up to twenty-four (24) automatic watches fully wound, each station provided with independent settings for rotation and winding time. Intended for serious watch collectors, the BERGAMO is impressive in appearance. The cabinet construction features select hardwood veneers with decorative “intarsia” inlays. A hinged plate glass door provides closure and dust protection and is lockable for security purposes.
