The best of both worlds, ORBITA’S new ASCONA single Watchwinder combine Swiss craftsmanship with American technology. This new, top-of-the line series of Watchwinders keep automatic watches fully wound when they are not worn, thereby completely eliminating the need for resetting and, at the same time, assuring continuous watch lubrication. They are available in either AC or DC models, both with programmable timers to control winding time, preventing overwinding.

The unique “gull-wing” cases are covered with fine calfskin leather. Made by the renowned Swiss company VAUDAUX, they are totally hand crafted and superbly finished with elegant gold accent bands.

The electro-mechanical winding and the electronic control elements are made by ORBITA in the U.S.A. There is a choice of “cup” mounting or user-friendly “cone” mounting (patented). All potential watch contact points are cushioned to prevent damage to straps, bracelets or watch cases. Programmed operation provides winding cycles of 500, 650, 800 or 1000 turns per day and can be adjusted to accommodate automatic watches that wind either unidirectionally or bidirectionally.
